Health and fitness has been a personal lifelong passion, developed from my own life experiences. My career as a health and fitness professional started in 2011; however my venture into athleticism began much earlier. My background as a competitor includes track and field and basketball. Participating in both sports have enabled me to train with multiple coaches, in different environments. These experiences have not only furthered my knowledge, but also familiarized me with a multitude of training styles and a wealth of nutritional information.

I take a great amount of pride in bringing the best out of every client I have the opportunity to train. My goal is to develop comprehensive programs that work best for each client and help them achieve long-term and life changing results. I take a whole body approach so that my clients will see and feel the benefits of training. My education and certifications include: ISSA certified personal trainer, IFA certified personal trainer, IFA certified group instructor, Poliquin BioSignature Modulation Practitioner, and American Red Cross CPR/AED. I am certified in specialties from the Cooper Institute in: Core Training, Flexibility and Myofascial Release, Small Group Fitness, Weight Control Strategies, Interval Training, Diet and Nutrition, Fitness Assessment and Sports Conditioning.

In August 2008, I was diagnosed with Leukemia. While, I had always been an athlete and a competitor the diagnosed caused me to take and evaluate what health and fitness really meant. I began to see that having cancer went from being scary and unknown thing in my life to becoming an amazing blessing. I began to look my health not just from the standpoint of being strong and fast to a more holistic approach that encompassed all aspects of health and wellness.

Embracing my leukemia also reminded me of my purpose. While I could not change my cancer diagnoses, I could change how I chose to live the rest of my life — making choices would help me stay healthy and feel as well I can. Life isn’t about unending moments of fulfillment, it’s about growing, learning, loving and appreciating the in-between. It allowed me to reaffirm my purpose and goal of sharing my knowledge of health and wellness with others. Ultimately, what I do and what I am is a lifestyle. My intention is to cultivate a lifestyle change in others with tools to help them look, feel and perform better.
